I work in sustainability, circular economy, and ESG, mostly the practical end of it, where you're actually trying to get something built or fixed rather than just written about.
Before any of this, I worked in India's development sector, my first contact with learning that sustainability plans are only as good as whether they survive contact with reality. That's stayed with me ever since. I've since worked as an ESG and sustainability consultant, and I currently lead environmental and sustainability work at J+S Subsea, where a lot of my time goes into things like carbon reduction strategy and Legacy Locker, a project I've helped build that refurbishes and reuses subsea equipment instead of scrapping it.
I was named Rising Star at the Subsea Expo Awards 2024, and won the Young Professional Award at Decarb Scotland 2025, nice recognition, but the part I care more about is whether the work actually reduces waste or emissions in a way you can point to.
Outside work: coffee, long walks with no real destination, and a strong bias toward being somewhere I've never been before. Some of my best ideas have shown up on a trail.
Always happy to talk sustainability strategy, circular economy work, ESG, or anything adjacent - get in touch if something you're working on might be worth a conversation.
